Meet the Team

Mika Davis, MLS M.S.
Tamika M. Davis is an Academic Technology Specialist in the School of Health and Human Sciences at UNC Greensboro. She supports faculty in designing accessible, engaging, and student-centered learning experiences across online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.
Her work focuses on integrating instructional technologies such as Canvas, Microsoft 365 tools, and accessibility platforms including YuJa Panorama. She collaborates with faculty and academic leaders to align course design with Quality Matters (QM) standards, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and institutional accessibility requirements.
Tamika also facilitates professional development workshops and consults with faculty on course organization, digital accessibility, and effective use of educational technology. She is especially passionate about helping instructors create learning environments that are both innovative and inclusive.
She is also known as “Mika” (pronounced mee-kah)—not “Micah,” not “Mickey,” and definitely not “meme-ka,” though she will answer to most things if you make eye contact.

Teena Martin, M.Ed
Teena Martin partners with faculty and staff to design engaging, effective learning experiences that thoughtfully integrate instructional technologies and innovative teaching practices. She is passionate about helping educators select and use tools that support meaningful learning outcomes rather than using technology for technology’s sake.
Her professional interests include instructional design, educational technology, professional development, makerspaces, and active learning strategies that promote creativity and student engagement. Teena is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Studies at UNC Greensboro, focusing on instructional technology and making in educational environments.
Credentials: B.A. in Special Education, High Point University; M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, East Carolina University.
