Alumni and Donors

Welcome HHS Alumni!

Our alumni community includes graduates from the School of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) as well as its predecessor schools – Human Environmental Sciences (HES) and Health and Human Performance (HHP). Together, they carry forward a shared legacy of excellence and service.

Beyond the work of our Alumni Leadership Council (ALC), there are many ways for alumni to stay connected and make an impact, including serving as a guest speaker or panelist, attending social or networking events with fellow alumni and students, volunteering in the community or on campus, and more!

Donor support to UNCG and HHS is vital. It allows us to provide scholarships, research support, and faculty resources for our outstanding students, faculty, and staff. In the past year, your generosity helped us:

  • Award $357,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Provide $12,000 for student and faculty travel to present research at conferences

There are many ways you can support HHS—through annual giving, an endowment, or a planned gift that leaves a lasting legacy at UNCG.

To learn more about making a gift, please reach out to me at cmjones10@uncg.edu.

C.J. Jones, Director of Development

Donor support helps HHS students, faculty, and staff thrive in research, teaching, and learning.

From a $5 gift to a departmental fund, an endowed professorship, or a scholarship in honor of an alumnus, every gift makes a difference.

Each year, nearly 600 donors support HHS, providing vital opportunities. The School awards nearly $400,000 in scholarships from an endowment of more than $10 million.

Additional funding comes from:

  • Endowed faculty positions
  • Endowed research and professional development funds
  • Annual gifts to departmental funds

This support allows students and faculty to pursue their work without added financial stress—preparing them to make a positive impact on our community, state, and world.
