    Charles and Lois Lee ’65

    The Helen Canaday Scholarship supports undergraduate students pursuing careers in human development and family studies. Thus far, 21 students have received it. In 2015, Charles and Lois Lee named the Helen Canaday Scholarship as a beneficiary in their will, and in 2018, they established a charitable gift annuity to provide additional support.

    Elizabeth Rosenthal ’27

    Elizabeth established the Joe Rosenthal Professorship herself, endowing it over the last five years of her life. After her death in 1971, the Wayne Foundation used funds from Elizabeth’s bequest to establish the Elizabeth Rosenthal Professorship in her honor.

    Barbara Wike ’80

    In 2018, she established the Barbara J. Wike Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students in the School of Health and Human Sciences. This will bequest, designated for non-traditional students pursuing any School of Health and Human Sciences major, will create a lasting impact by supporting this growing sector of our undergraduate population.

    I retired in 2000 and am happy in retirement. I have remained involved with UNCG, especially through the Council for the Advancement of Graduate Education (CAGE). Linwood and I designated our planned gift, a charitable gift annuity, to support a graduate award in the School of Health and Human Sciences.

    Deborah Tunstall Tippett ’73, ’81 MS, ’91 PhD has established the Ann Satterwhite Tunstall Scholarship Fund with a planned gift to UNC Greensboro.
