The Betsy Umstead Undergraduate Scholarship

This award was established in 1994 to honor Dr. Umstead on her retirement from the Department of Exercise and Sport Science (now Kinesiology). Betsy was a 1949 graduate of the Woman’s College.

This award supports a rising junior or senior (preference given to students who plan to teach) in one of the following departments: Undergraduate, Kinesiology
