October 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Virtual Event

What’s good for your body can also be good for your brain!

Join HealthyUNCG for the next session in our Brain Health @ Work webinar series as we explore the powerful connection between physical activity and cognitive health. This month, we’re excited to feature the work of two UNCG Kinesiology faculty members, Dr. Jennifer Etnier and Dr. Anne Brady.

Dr. Jennifer Etnier, who oversees UNCG’s Physical Activity and Cognition Lab, will share what the latest research is telling us about the relationship between movement and cognitive function. She’ll also highlight opportunities for you and your loved ones to get involved in research exploring physical activity and brain health.

🏃Dr. Anne Brady, Director of UNCG’s HOPE Program, will bring the research to life with practical movement strategies. The HOPE Program is an exercise program designed specifically for adults age 40+ and is open to UNCG employees and members of the community. Dr. Brady will demonstrate simple movements and exercises you can incorporate into your routine to support your brain and overall health.

Come learn why movement matters for your brain and discover ways to make physical activity a part of your everyday life!
