The UNCG Center for Women’s Health and Wellness and the city of Greensboro’s Parks and Recreation Department are partnering to host the city’s first National Girls and Women in Sports Day of Play on Feb. 1. The free event is open to girls ages 5-16, and will include a variety of sports and lunch, with the chance to watch a UNCG women’s basketball game after.
This is a unique and exciting partnership with Greensboro Parks and Rec to advance our shared vision in providing new opportunities for girls in our community to learn and engage in sport and physical activity
