Curriculum Committee

Composition:

  • One voting member from each department/program, elected by the department.

Term:

  • 3 years; may serve a second consecutive term.

Representation:

  • Departments may waive representation but must have a member present when their matters are under consideration.

Composition:

  • 8 tenured faculty members; at least 5 members must be Professors.
  • 6 members elected at large from the tenured faculty of the School.
  • 2 tenured faculty appointed by the Dean.

Term:

  • 3 years; faculty may serve two consecutive elected terms.

Representation:

  • When possible, no department shall have more than one representative.

  • At least 1 AP Full Professor required (2 preferred).
  • Tenure Track (TT) faculty members at the Associate or Full level may serve if an AP representative is not available.
  • At least 4 members must be AP track faculty.

Belonging and Inclusion Committee

Composition:

  • At least one member shall be staff, in consultation with the committee co-chairs.

  • 2 years; members may extend their service if reappointed by the dean or re-elected at large by the faculty.

  • The Faculty Senate Elections and Appointments Committee Chair (elections officer), elected by the faculty, will lead the HHS E&A committee.
  • The HHS Faculty Assembly Chair will serve as co-chair.
  • The committee will include the Elections Officer, the Faculty Assembly Chair, and the past Faculty Assembly Chair.

  • The chair’s term is three years.
