Pacesetter: Ms. Elizabeth “Ellie” Daniels, MSAT, LAT, ATC
For the past 15 years Ellie Daniels has been working in non-traditional and emergent settings for Athletic Training, both domestically and internationally. She has done so with distinction and honor. Ms. Daniels evaluated and treated more than 5,000 soldiers as an athletic trainer. She has easily demonstrated a large capacity for service and civic engagement through her continued volunteering with projects such as Warrior Transition Unity, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the American Red Cross. She is a passionate, dedicated representative of the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) and UNCG.
Ms. Daniels has been extremely active in not only her paid work, but also her volunteer service experiences throughout the years. She has been an athletic trainer, teacher, liaison, paraprofessional, athletic director, strength & conditioning coach, and a rehabilitation therapy technician, all while also being a military spouse.
Ms. Daniels has been awarded the Department of the Army Certificate of Achievement, the USAG Bavaria DA Civilian/Retiree Volunteer of the Year, the Department of Army Civilian Service Achievement Medal, and the Department of the Army Commanders Award for Civilian Service.
