Pacesetter: Rebecca “Becca” Loman , M.S.
Rebecca Loman is currently the Program Director of the M.S. Genetic Counseling training program at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, S.D. As only the second director in the program’s history, Ms. Loman rose to this leadership position after working as a clinical genetic counselor and assistant program director for seven years. In this role, she is part of a very small group of program leadership totaling less than 60 in North America.
Ms. Loman’s consistent and unwavering dedication to high quality patient care, student development and conscientious education makes her a standout among not just UNCG Genetic Counseling program alum, but her peers nationally.
