Ms. Quenum earned a B.S in Community Health Education in 2003 and Masters in Public Health in 2005. While a student at UNCG, Ms. Quenum took global public health to the local level by organizing African immigrant and refugee women in the Triad region to take action for their health.

In 2007, Ms. Quenum started a non-profit organization, Prime Care International, Inc., where she provides health education along with interpretation assistance to immigrant and refugee newcomers in the Baltimore area. She later extended this work to address the needs of mothers and children in Chad where she created and runs the Schilo Center for Mothers and Children Living with HIV/AIDS.
