Genetic Counseling Program
Ms. Schoch graduated from UNCG with a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling in 2005. She belongs to a team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists in the Division of Medical Genetics of the Department of Pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center.

As a clinical genetic counselor, she counsels, educates and advocates for her clients to help them manage the impact of a genetic diagnosis or risk. Ms. Schoch also designs, implements, and coordinates clinical research studies that in the past three years have resulted in 17 publications and as many presentations at national conferences. Ms. Schoch provides expert clinical supervision for our genetic counseling students who rotate through the Duke Pediatric Clinic. She has been very loyal in her support of the MS Genetic Counseling Program and has been a wonderful mentor to our students.
