The Marge Leonard Scholarship - School of Health and Human Sciences

Marge Leonard ’39, taught in the Department of Physical Education at Woman’s College/UNCG from 1941 until her retirement in 1971. This award honors her memory and rewards a current student who reflects the characteristics used to describe Ms. Leonard: Sensitive to the needs of others, generous, possessing high standards and a love of nature.

This fund supports undergraduate students in one of the following departments: Undergraduate, Community and Therapeutic Recreation, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Kinesiology, Public Health Education.
