Helen Canady Scholarship Fund - School of Health and Human Sciences

This award was established in 1984 to honor Dr. Canady, a retired professor in Child Development (now Human Development and Family Studies). Helen Canady was a popular faculty member who arrived at Woman’s College by train in 1956. She was an early pioneer in the Nursery Program, now known as the Consolidated Childcare Program.

This fund supports an undergraduate student (based on academic achievement and financial need) in one of the following departments: Undergraduate, Human Development and Family Studies
