E. York Kiker Scholarship in Home Economics (HDF)

E. York Kiker was a Women’s College graduate in 1939. She was a loyal and devoted alumna who was a pioneer within the State in the area of Home Economics Education. She served the NC Department of Agriculture between 1943-1981. She was instrumental getting milk in schools and worked with PTA groups to provide school lunches. She was a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award of the UNCG Alumni Association.
