Child Development Scholarship - School of Health and Human Sciences

Established by Dr. Frances J. Cope, ’47, to support students majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. Dr. Cope’s career included directing nursery school programs and teaching in child care units. She spent many years as a Family Development Specialist for the NC Extension Service.

This award supports an undergraduate student (based on academic achievement and financial need) in one of the following departments: Undergraduate, Human Development and Family Studies

Preference will be given to rising juniors and seniors emphasizing child development.
