Betty Rowe Penny Endowed Scholarship - School of Health and Human Sciences

Established by Betty Rowe Penny and her spouse, Horace D. Penny, in honor of the Class of ’59 Woman’s College Reunion. They also established an athletic scholarship at NC State. Betty retired after 28 years of teaching service in eastern North Carolina and then served as a part-time counselor of vocational education.

This fund supports undergraduate students in one of the following departments: Undergraduate, Consumer, Apparel & Retail Studies, Human Development and Family Studies, Interior Architecture, and Nutrition.
