Carol has dedicated an astounding 43 years to higher education in what is now the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) where she has served as Dean of the School of Health Professions (SHP) since 2003. Under her leadership, SHP raised $14 million in grant funds, added several new credit and certificate programs, as well as new faculty and staff positions. Under her leadership, CCBC has become the leading provider of undergraduate health care education in Maryland.
Carol credits UNCG with the development of her leadership skills where she ran for and was elected President of the Student Government Association in 1967.
