Food Recovery Schedules

  • The Food Recovery Network will have recoveries at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • During a recent food festival the network recovered nearly  62 pounds of food. Read Campus Weekly Story

 FRN Receives Excellence Award

The UNCG Food Recovery Network received the 2018 Group Excellence in Community Service Award at the 2018 UNCG Annual Excellence Awards Banquet on April 23, 2018.  The Annual Excellence Awards Banquet provides an exciting opportunity to celebrate the impact our students and organizations make as leaders, scholars and innovators.  Congratulations to the many Nutrition students involved in this organization!

FRN makes Greensboro Urban Ministry second partner agency

We have successfully donated 43 pounds of fresh yeast rolls to them. Big shout out to Professor Burgin Ross in the Nutrition Department at UNCG for the donation.
