2016-2017 Objectives:

  • Work with UTLC to develop and enhance teaching strategies to include:
    • Identifying “trigger” issues in the classroom
    • Managing resistance/tension in the classroom relative to queer topics
    • Being strategic with including LGBTQ+
    • Understanding queer approaches to pedagogy
  • Explore an Ashby Dialogue regarding queer pedagogy and inclusion of LGBTQ+ content in the classroom
