The Department of Public Health Education (PHE) at UNC Greensboro is excited to invite applications for a Tenure-Track/Tenured faculty position at the Assistant/Associate level. The positions will begin August 1, 2021.
We are seeking a candidate who will: (a) be actively committed to our departmental health equity and anti-racism mission; (b) establish a robust research agenda that integrates students and complements and/or extends departmental strengths; (c) teach and provide professional mentorship across graduate and undergrad programs; (d) work closely with students in our PhD program by serving on doctoral program committees, dissertation committees, and providing broad professional mentorship; and (e) provide meaningful service to the department, school, university, and profession.
Minimum Qualifications for a successful candidate:
- A doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD, EdD) on Public Health or a related field
- Evidence of scholarly productivity (e.g., peer-reviewed publications, research funding)
- Evidence of committed and excellent teaching at undergraduate and/or graduate level
