Brief Bio
In addition to his appointment as an Affiliated Scholar in PCS, Noel facilitates collaborations in UNCG’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement. His experiences in the field of dispute resolution include: Mediator of both civil and domestic cases in the District of Columbia’s Superior Court; Co-founder of The Potomac Mediation Group providing family/separation/divorce mediation; Partner in Advanced Dispute Resolution Systems, LLC; and on the Advisory Board for the Conflict Management Initiative at UNC-Chapel Hill.
In addition to providing mediation services, Noel has conducted numerous workshops in conflict management; participated in the design of dispute resolution systems; served as a conflict coach; and incorporated conflict management into professional leadership training initiatives.
