Noor Ghazi, M.A.

Our Visiting Research Scholar, Noor Ghazi is an Alumni of the master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from UNCG.
Being a refugee from Iraq had encouraged Noor to actively engage in the community. As peace activist, she returned to her homeland, Iraq, to help advocate for peace and peace building. She is currently an academic translator with Iraqi Alamal Association in Baghdad translating two books by the eminent peace studies scholar John Paul Lederach into Arabic.
Noor had written numbers of the academic and non-academic articles in Arabic and English. As peace activist, she had recently given a TEDx Talk titled “Lost in my Home for 12 Years.”
