If you plan to or are currently attending a NC Community College prior to applying to UNCG, it is strongly encouraged that you contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies to discuss what courses you should complete prior to enrolling at UNCG.

These courses are dependent on your concentration of interest – Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition and Wellness or Nutrition Science.

  • If a student wants to take Organic Chemistry before arriving at UNCG, they have to complete both CHM 251 and 252 in order to meet the requirement of CHE 205/206.
  • Having completed the equivalent for BIO 280 (Microbiology) is also recommended.
