Application Deadline: Applications completed before January 15, 2022 will be given highest priority. All materials must be received by February 1, 2022 in order to be considered for Fall 2022 admission. Applications received after that date will not be reviewed. Applicants may choose to apply to begin the program in either the summer or the fall semester.
Additional academic work may need to be completed by students without foundational skills or content knowledge in early childhood. Prerequisite credits may not be applied toward the MEd degree. Prerequisite requirements must be satisfied within the first 12 semester credit hours of the program. The BK Graduate Program Committee approves any transfer credit.

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a participating institution in both the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) and North Carolina’s portal agency, State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements North Carolina (SARA NC). Completion of the UNCG Birth through Kindergarten on-line program meets higher education requirements for teaching licensure in North Carolina.
