Aubrey Hite, '23
B.S. Biology, Lenoir-Rhyne University (2018)
Hey everyone! My name is Aubrey Hite, and I am originally from the Columbia, South Carolina area. I graduated in 2018 from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a B.S. in Biology where I spent time researching microbial antibiotic resistance. While in undergrad, I discovered the field of genetic counseling and was fortunate enough to spend summer as an intern at the University of South Carolina where I fell in love with genetic counseling. Prior to graduate school, I taught high school biology for three years, interviewed genetic counselors in various roles, and continued to learn as much as I could about the field. In my free time, you can find me running, hiking, cooking, hanging out with my wife and dog, or watching the Tar Heels play! Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to learn more about UNCG, genetic counseling, or the application process at firstname.lastname@example.org!
