Women and Staying Active at Every Age: Women’s Table Talk

When: April 7th, 8:30-10:00 am
Where: Edwards Lounge, Stone Building

Join HealthyUNCG and The Center for Women’s Health and Wellness as we invite the women of UNCG to an informal time of conversation. Ask questions and gain support as it relates to a variety of women’s health topics.  The “You Can Sit With Us” table talks will be held each month at various times and locations. Each talk will feature a general women’s health topic and will be led by an expert in that area. Come early for food and drink or come for just the conversation. We hope to create community and support among the women of UNCG’s campus through good food, good conversation, and helpful information.

RSVP not required but appreciated! If possible, a Zoom option will be given for those that are unable to be with us in person.

This month’s talk features Dr. Anne Brady from the UNCG Kinesiology Department. Dr. Brady specializes in exercise assessment and prescription in aging adults. In addition to teaching a variety of KIN courses, she is also the director of HOPE (Helping Other People Exercise) and involved with a number of community organizations and partnerships.
