The mission of the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness is to advance the health and wellness of all women and girls through collaborative research, educational programs, and community engagement. CWHW places strong emphasis on the promotion of positive health, quality of life and sense of well-being for girls and women of all ages, from all backgrounds and communities. CWHW seeks to incubate and coordinate programs, research and education that support its mission.

The forum will feature an expert panel on interdisciplinary approaches to women’s health and wellness research, and oral and poster presentations from UNCG faculty and students on original research directly focused on women’s health and wellness. Significant time will be provided for discussion after the panel and each group of oral presentations.
We will also offer breakout sessions on different topics of interest in women’s health and wellness to promote networking opportunities. This conference will be held via Zoom, and abstracts from all presenters will be available on the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness website after the meeting (pending author approval).
We will be conducting round table discussions on these three topics – physical activity in health, injury, illness, and disease, maternal and reproductive health, and hormones and energy balance in health, injury, illness, and disease.

Abstract Submission Information
All abstracts must be original research conducted by UNCG faculty and students and must directly relate to women’s health and wellness. All topics related to women’s health and wellness are welcome. Abstracts presented elsewhere (within the previous or next 6 months) may be submitted for review.
