Thank you for visiting the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness in UNCG’s School of Health and Human Sciences.
This summer, we are in a state of transition, as Dr. Paige Hall Smith steps down from her role as Director of the Center after 16 years and returns to the faculty in the Department of Public Health Education.
Starting August 1 2020, Dr. Sandy Shultz, Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, will serve as the incoming Director of the Center, and Dr. Donna Duffy, AP Associate Professor in Kinesiology, will serve as Associate Director.
Look for a new vision and mission statement and 5-year strategic goals early in the Fall 2020. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
The mission of the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness is to advance the health and wellness of all women and girls through collaborative research, educational programs, and community engagement.
CWHW places strong emphasis on the promotion of positive health, quality of life and sense of well being for girls and women of all ages, from all backgrounds and communities. CWHW seeks to incubate and coordinate programs, research and education that support its mission.
