Transition Statement

Thank you for visiting the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness in UNCG’s School of Health and Human Sciences.

This summer, we are in a state of transition, as Dr. Paige Hall Smith steps down from her role as Director of the Center after 16 years and returns to the faculty in the Department of Public Health Education.

Starting August 1 2020, Dr. Sandy Shultz, Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, will serve as the incoming Director of the Center, and Dr. Donna Duffy, AP Associate Professor in Kinesiology, will serve as Associate Director.

Look for a new vision and mission statement and 5-year strategic goals early in the Fall 2020. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
