Community Involvement

Proud to say that we have made the Greensboro Urban Ministry our second partner agency, and have successfully donated 43 pounds of fresh yeast rolls to them. Big shout out to professor Burgin Ross in the Nutrition Department at UNCG for the donation. We are only about 100 pounds away from our first 1000 pounds of food recovered and donated in just a short time! We are so pumped for the 2015/2016 school year.

The Food Recovery Network donated 43 pounds of fresh yeast rolls prepared during the June 24-25, 2015 School Nutrition Association workshops to the Greensboro Urban Ministry.  Special thanks to Burgin Ross in the Nutrition Department for facilitating this donation.
